Mr. Aftab-ul-Islam was the President of American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh, AmCham for a few terms. He was the Chairperson of state-owned SME Foundation (Small and Medium Enterprise Foundation). Apart from this, Mr. Aftab-ul-Islam is a Director of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), Board Member, Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd. (CSE), Executive Board Member International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)-Bangladesh, Country Director, South Asian Regional Energy Coalition (SAREC) and a Member of Board of Governors, Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of Dhaka University. Previously Mr. Aftab-ul-Islam held numerous core positions of different business associations. He served as President, Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS), the leading computer association of Bangladesh, President, The Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), country's largest trade promotion organisation in 2001.

Mr. M Shamsur Rahman is a partner of Impact PR. He launched Impact PR in 2005. Before launching the agency, Shams worked as an account manager in one of the leading PR firms, Percept Profile, in Dubai. Before entering the PR industry, Shams served as the business editor of The Daily Star and earned the reputation of being the best business editor in Bangladesh. He also played a key role in launching the Daily Star and DHL Worldwide Express Business Awards. Working in Dubai, he realised Bangladesh does not have a PR industry even though there is huge potential. He came back to Bangladesh, tied up with Mr. Aftab and launched Impact PR. He headed the company for five years and now he has gone back to journalism. Currently, he is working as the Editor of The Independent and CEO of Independent Television.

Majored in marketing communications from Middlesex University, London, Sabrina Zaman, started working for Impact PR as the Account Director in February 2007. British born Ms. Zaman has vast experience in travel and tour business both in Bangladesh and UK. Prior to her studies abroad, she did her masters in International Relations from the University of Dhaka. She became the Chief Executive of the company on December 1, 2010. She is the official trainer for PR and media relations training, the agency offers to its corporate clients. Also, she is an honorable member of KM Trust.
Dilruba Akter Sumi
Head of Account
Dilruba Akter Sumi has been working at Impact PR as a Sr. Account Manager since 2018. Sumi started her journalism career in 2004. She completed her BSS (Hons) degree and Master’s in Mass Communication and Journalism from University of Dhaka. She had a journalism career for 14 years. She served in daily Amar Desh as a staff reporter for 7 years and 7 years in Shokaler Khobor as a Sr. Reporter. During her journalism tenure, she won two awards titled ‘BCS Computer Show awards’ for best feature writing in 2005 and special reporting in 2006. She also won ‘Kamal Padak’ award from Zia Shishu Academy in 2009 and ‘Journalism award’ from UNESCO club Bangladesh in 2011. She did her Internship on ‘Multi-sectorial Program on Violence against Women’ under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs in 2003.
Award-winning journalist Tareq Moretaza has a profound journalistic career. When he was studying his Honours in Political Science from the University of Dhaka, he started his journalism career with the country’s leading Bangla daily Prothom Alo as a city correspondent and right after one and half year, he started working to the first tabloid daily Manabzamin as a university reporter. After completing his masters’ Tareq commenced working with daily Naya Diganta as a senior reporter. Tareq is now working with another leading English daily, The Independent as a senior reporter with special concentration on telecom & ICT sector, tourism. He served Dhaka University Tourist Society as president for two terms. Tareq took part in a two-year-long fellowship program of AED & USAID on investigative journalism. He joined Impact PR as a senior consultant in June 2011. He won Monajatuddin Smrity Award 2009 for investigative journalism and The Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Award in the Telecom category in 2015.
A Mass Communication & Journalism graduate and an MBA in Accounting, Mahbub has a proven track record in Public Relations, Journalism and Event Management. He joined Impact PR in 2006 and has been playing a significant role in this organization till now. At present, he lives in Canada and performed the role of senior consultant in Impact PR. Before that, he served as an account director for almost 3 years in the same organization. He started his public relations career with Adcomm, Bangladesh’s one of the leading advertising agencies, with the special assignment of doing public relations activities for Tata Steel and Nokia Corporation. After completing post-graduation in Mass Communication and Journalism at the University of Dhaka, he started his journalism career as an intern with the largest circulated vernacular daily – The Daily Prothom Alo. He later worked for The Daily Star before joining Adcomm.
Mohammed Shahin is the Co-coordinator of Impact PR with the responsibility to maintain media relations with senior journalists as well as to managing all the clients’ event management activities. A graduate from Dhaka College, Shahin has been working for Impact PR since its inception. Before joining Impact, he worked for Coastal Sea Food Ltd and Fyne Way Water and Beverage Co. Ltd as a liaison officer. He is an expert in high-level media relations, crisis management.
Bidan Chandra Saha
Bidhan Chandra Saha is working as an Account Manager in Impact PR. He joined Impact PR on 1st February, 2013. He has completed his graduation & Master’s degree from University of Dhaka in Mass Communication and Journalism. After completing the study he joined in University of Development Alternative (UODA) as Lecturer and then worked in bdnews24.com as Sub-Editor. Later he was inducted in Impact PR account management team. He specializes in content development and media planning.
After completing his undergraduate and postgraduate in Business Administration from BRAC University with a majoring in Finance, Sharif started his journalism career with an English daily, The Independent as a staff reporter with a special concentration on the RMG sector. Before joining The Independent Sharif worked with an international development organization titled ‘Development Gateway’ as a consultant. Sharif took part in a two-day-long training programmed on Media report on SDGs’ organized by United Nation. He joined Impact PR as a PR Consultant in November 2019. His responsibilities are; English Content Development, translation and article writing.
Mohammad Shakhawat Ullah
Mohammad Shakhawat Ullah is working as an Associate Account Manager at Impact PR. He joined here as a PR Executive since December 2014. He graduated from National University of Bangladesh with majoring in Sociology. Earlier, he was a PR Executive at Delta Bay Production and Distribution where he successfully accomplished the public relations program of highly esteemed reality shows like KeHote Chai Kotipoti, Bangladeshi Idol, and Forgotten Roots, etc. He worked as a Research Assistant with the City University of Hong Kong. Presently, Shakhawat is working as a feature writer of renowned Daily Prothom Alo and Kalerkantho. He is an expert in maintaining client relationships and content development.

Subarna Mostafa is working as a Senior Account Executive of Impact PR. She joined Impact PR on 1st October 2013. She has completed her graduation & Master’s degree from Mass Communication and Journalism Dept of University of Dhaka, after completing the graduation she joined International Television Channel- ntv as a Reporter. After her Masters, she worked as a Communication Analyst in a research organization named JPRSW. Later she was inducted in Impact’s account management team. She has expertise in content development, client and media relation.

Majored in Public Relations from University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, Anik Sarker started working for Impact PR as an Account Executive since October 2016. He got promoted in year 2018 and took the responsibility of Sr. Account Executive after 2 years. He completed his Masters in International Relations from Jahangirnagar University. He worked at Justice Sector facility project-UNDP from July to September 2015. He handles client relations and media relations.

S. M. Ariful Islam is working as an Account Executive in Impact PR. He joined Impact PR on 1st October 2018. He has completed his graduation and Master’s degree from Mass Communication & Journalism Dept., University of Rajshahi. His specialties are content development and translation.
Maruful Hossen, started working in Impact PR as an Account executive in August 2019. He graduated in public relations from University of Liberal Arts (ULAB), Bangladesh. Before this, he joined Impact PR as an intern and later on recruited as a full-time member in Impact’s team.
